Xyla is a powerful ancient dragon disguised as a young, human girl. Long ago, she saved Trey’s life. He joined her in searching for more of her kind.  To prolong his life, she placed him under a youth spell. She did the same to Lu,  once she realized what an asset Lu’s incredible intellect could be to her. 

 Xyla is presently with *Trey, in the Elvin realm searching for  anything that may lead to the missing dragons. However, she occasionally drops in on Trey’s children: Harmonia, Lu, Quinn, and his grand daughter Tahariel.   She sees them as her pets.
