Lady with the Dog where the Prince & the Vamp reside              

When Fin was a teenager, his family's home was crushed by a tree during a storm, killing his parents. Fin was able to get his three younger brothers out of the house. He was unable to rescue his parents and blames himself for their deaths. He couldn’t bear to remain there after his grandparents rebuilt, so he left with their blessing. He had no idea Karanthir had followed him.
When Fin realized his younger brother was with him – he sent him home. Karanthir refused. Fin went so far as to tie him to a tree. Karanthir escaped and tracked him. So the two teenagers ‘raised’ each other. They attended school when they could, worked at a variety of jobs or just lived off the land. This went on until Daprima invited Fin and Karanthir  to join her in the home of the Lady with the Dog.

 Brothers

Karanthir is constantly astonishing his older brother with what he says and does.  One thing Fin knows for sure is Karanthir makes like interesting.

It took a while before Brynie and Orrie joined their brothers. Fin is legal guardian to them. He takes this very seriously unlike Karanthir who’s somewhat amused by it all.

Brynie looks up to his older brothers, but he’s closer to Fin.

Orrie instantly bonded with Karanthir. At first Fin was worried about this, but he’s since seen a gentler side to Karanthir - when it concerns Orrie. 

Fin and Karanthir’s parenting skills are very different but they balance each other out.

 Love

Fin had a few minor romances prior to  Daprima, but she was the first to truly get his attention. When she was in the third grade, she was assigned Karanthir as her pen-pal in a class project. They corresponded through email between the realms. Karanthir eventually became bored and stopped writing. Fin read one of her emails and became intrigued. He was amazed that a young, human girl could be so wise and intuitive. He began writing to her and they developed a friendship that lasted for years. They finally met in person, in the human realm when Daprima was in high school.  They’ve been together ever since, and after proposing to her four times, she finally said yes. 

Grace 

Now that Fin’s going to be Grace’s brother-in-law, he has decided to take a more active role in her life. He’s  been raising his brothers most of his life and thought dealing with Grace would be easy. He’s beginning to have his doubts about that. She’s truly a force of nature. 

Mez 

When Fin first joined the home of the Lady with the Dog, he felt Daprima was too strict with her brother, Mez. So when the siblings would bicker, Fin took Mez’s side until Daprima realized her brother has a  good head on his shoulders. 

Shichi 

Years ago, Karanthir had a relationship with Shichi while still in the Elvin realm.  Later, when he was  held prisoner in a sorceress' castle, Fin found comfort in Shichi’s arms (for one night). Then Shichi helped free Karanthir. Fin is forever grateful to him.

Vanni 

At times it seems as if the Crew is run by two very powerful women: Daprima & Syrrah. So, it's only natural that the two men in their lives should form a bond that's turned into a deep friendship.
