Lady with the Dog where the Prince & the Vamp reside              

Daprima learned to be independent at a very young age. Her father's work took him away from home for months at a time. Due to her mother's poor health, Daprima and Mez were placed in foster care.  When Grace was born, they were reunited with their parents. Unfortunately the family reunion didn't last long as their father died in a work related accident. Their mother's health deteriorated and she passed away. Daprima and Mez were put back in foster care and Grace was taken in by a distant relative.

When Daprima was 18 years old, she moved into the home
of the Lady with the Dog.  She  was determined to bring her family together and with help, the three siblings were reunited. Later, Grace found Io’s lamp, and after they each touched it, he appeared and joined the family. 

Love

Fin is Daprima’s first  boyfriend. They ‘met’ when she was in grade school. Her class became pen-pals, via the internet, with students in far-away lands. She was assigned Karanthir, Fin’s brother. They corresponded for a short time until he became bored. Fin read some of her emails  and became intrigued. The two of them began their own online correspondence.

When Daprima was 16 years-old, she and Fin met face to face. She knew instantly he was the one for her. Fin, on the other hand, felt she was too young for him. They parted as friends but continued to write. Two years later they met again. They’ve been together ever since and are engaged to be married.

Daprima was the first to contact the Lady with the Dog, and is the matriarch of the Crew.  She’s a gifted clairvoyant. She’s also an empath. She reads humans easily. She doesn’t do this on purpose, she just has trouble  turning it off. Elves are able to block her. She can’t read vampires unless they allow it or are in emotional distress.  

Family

Mez - Daprima has always been there for Mez. She knows he can be overly trusting, which led to a rocky year for the two of them. She tried to control him and he rebelled. Then she  realized  he was old enough to make his own decisions. She still keeps a watchful eye on him, but from a distance.

Grace - Daprima spends most of her time reigning in her overly energetic, little sister. She is fully aware that Grace gets on her house mates’ nerves. If only she could channel that energy into something useful. 

Io was  a genie. After encouraging him to be his own person, Daprima freed him, making him human. He then moved to the Elvin realm to work with Trey who became his mentor and  lover.  

Cammeo

Cammeo was instrumental in guiding Daprima to Mez and Grace when they were separated.  Their relationship has grown a lot since then. They’re like sisters. Daprima can feel when Cammeo is upset and usually knows just how to help her. The two are very close.

Esmodonti

When Es first arrived, Daprima was instrumental in convincing Racolo to let Es see her son, Lithium. Es has never forgotten this.  Over time, Daprima has become Es’s best female friend. 

Racolo

When Racolo first arrived with his son, it was Darima who did her best to get them to stay, She knew Lithium would not leave his mother. It was a rocky road for Racolo and Daprima tried to guide  him into accepting the situation. Along the way they became friends.
