303 - Are You Crazy?

2022

       Brynie                  Fin             Daprima

In the kitchen …

BRYNIE:

… Grace told me you’re getting her a fairy,  her
very own fairy. I have two things to say about that:

BRYNIE:
… One - can I have a fairy too? And two - are you crazy?

FIN:
I never said she could have a fairy.

BRYNIE:
Have you told her that?

FIN:
Yes, over and over again.

BRYNIE:
She sounds pretty sure of it,
yes she does - not only about the fairy, but
that you’re the one giving it to her.

FIN:

All I did was explain why we need to free Io before
everyone, including Phae and her new fairy friend,
returns from the Elvin realm …

BRYNIE:
Ya mean this weekend?

FIN:
That’s right. I never realized what a mistake it was
mentioning that fairy to Grace.

BRYNIE:

Maybe after she meets Wysh-the-fairy - she won’t want one anymore.

FIN:
Do you think that’s possible?

BRYNIE:
No.

FIN:
Me either.

DAPRIMA:

Babe, there you are … We need to talk.

FIN:
I didn’t do it on purpose, I swear.

DAPRIMA:
I know. I just don’t understand why you’d
promise my sister a fairy!

FIN:
I never said that.

DAPRIMA:
I didn’t think you did but you know Grace. I had a long

talk with her and I think I got through to her.

BRYNIE:
Maybe not …

FIN:
Daprima, did you talk to her before or after Brynie did?

BRYNIE:

She told me she’s getting a fairy.

DAPRIMA:
When was that?

BRYNIE:
A little while ago.

DAPRIMA:
Really? I see she and I need to discuss this further.

FIN:
Can I help?

BRYNIE:
I think you already helped enough.

FIN:
Brynie …

DAPRIMA:
No babe you did your part. She told me it’s OK to free Io.
Evidently that talk you had with her was successful.

FIN:
- Until I mentioned the fairy.

DAPRIMA:
I’ll set her straight. Having one fairy in house
is going to have to be enough for her.
