… Then Lu told Racolo about a portal at Magick School that leads
to Paris. So that’s where they’re going for their honeymoon.

KARANTHIR:
A portal to Paris, how wonderful. Yet, no one’s thought to create
such a thing between here and the Elvin realm? How very
inconvenient. I mean really!

KARANTHIR:

… And you, Vanni - imagine my surprise when I saw you here.
You just can’t stand to be without me, can you?

VANNI:
Not at all. Syrrah wanted to be here for the wedding but since she
couldn’t, she suggested I time travel here to represent us.

KARANTHIR:
Time travel, how lucky for you. I must endure a long, agonizing
ride back to the Elvin Court on a dreaded griffon.

VANNI:
You have my sympathies. 

FIN:
Yes but Karanthir,  in a couple of weeks, you’ll all
be able to come home for good. 

KARANTHIR:
That day can’t come soon enough for me, or my prince. 

KARANTHIR:

… Now dear brother, no doubt you want to escort me out.
I’m already behind schedule. 

FIN:
Brynie has the griffon all ready for you.

KARANTHIR:
How very pro-active of him. I’m sure the little
monster can’t wait to be rid of me. 

KARANTHIR:
… Well, I’m off.  Tah.

DAPRIMA:
… Before I forget, Es told me to tell you how thrilled
she was that you were here for her today.

VANNI:
I’m glad to be here. She and I had a nice chat.

DAPRIMA:
I’ll bet Syrrah’s name came up. Having Usagi put Es under
that sleep spell was not one of her better moments.

VANNI:
My wife had a lapse in judgement. I explained her side of things to
Es. She was open to hearing me out, but the rest is up to Syrrah.

DAPRIMA:
How long can you stay?

VANNI:
There’s really no time limit but, I usually start missing my family
after a couple of days. I’ll just travel back to right after I left.

DAPRIMA:
Sounds like you’re getting very good at it.

VANNI:
I’m able to return back to within twenty minutes of my
original departure. One time I even met myself beforehand
- which was somewhat confusing, at first. 

DAPRIMA:
That would be weird.

VANNI:
Hey, congratulations on your engagement. 

DAPRIMA:
Thank you. 

VANNI:
So many things have changed here. I wish I could say
the same for the Elvin realm. Time seems to stand still there.
I do enjoy my in-laws company but … 

VANNI:
… it’s been too long for me to be stuck there with them. 

DAPRIMA:
So you escape through time travel.

VANNI:
I do. I’ve visited my family, I’ve gone into the future and past …

DAPRIMA:
The future? Listen Vanni, I’m planning to free Io and …

VANNI:
I can’t help you. 

DAPRIMA:
Surely you can tell me if you see Io in the future.

VANNI:
Sorry. You’re about to do something that you need to do on
your own. Its outcome may influence your future, as well as his.
I’m confident that you know what to do. Just follow your instincts.
