KARANTHIR:
… Is Herita in there?
HARMONIA:
She sure is.
KARANTHIR:
If you’ll be kind enough to get out of my way, I need to see her.
HARMONIA:
I can’t let ya do that.
KARANTHIR:
I don't honestly see how you’re going to stop me.
HARMONIA:
I planted myself here cause I'm fixin' to do just that.
KARANTHIR:
Really Harmonia, you don’t realize how serious I am about this.
HARMONIA:
Oh but I do and I can appreciate your position cause today I know all.
HARMONIA:
… For instance, I know that ya just heard from Racolo, and he
explained how Es was magicked, with the First Blood, from some iced tea
she drank. That's what caused her to go after Zyfan so violently.
HARMONIA:
… And I know that First Blood magic was also the cause of
your recent illness. Am I right?
HARMONIA:
… I further know that Mez told ya he found that missing book on vampires
that Qualina wrote, and Racolo lost all those months ago. Which brings us to
the conclusion that Herita had it all along, and has been using it for no good.
HARMONIA:
… And now sir, you're aiming to have a conversation with Herita, but I done
told ya already – you're not goin' in there. Now ya'll can continue to be
ornery about this or you can go on about your business.
KARANTHIR:
Herita is my business.
HARMONIA:
Oh I know you believe that to be true. And I understand that she did a
whole a lot of wrong to you and yours, but what ya'll don't understand is
– talking to her won't do no good.
KARANTHIR:
It'll do me a whole lot of good.
HARMONIA:
Aw honey, let me tell ya honestly - Herita, well,
he's two bricks short of a load.
HARMONIA:
…The gal was trying to become a vampire. She had a half baked scheme
to do it too. Now does that sound like someone living in their right mind?
KARANTHIR:
Her actions nearly killed my prince!
HARMONIA:
Uh-huh. She's become a real danger and that's why she’s leaving tonight.
KARANTHIR:
Well then I simply must insist upon saying good-bye to her.
So if you’ll just remove yourself from my path.
HARMONIA:
No hon, ya see - she's in there with her sister. Don't ya think Cammeo
deserves time alone with her to say whatever it is she needs to say?
KARANTHIR:
Fine. I’ll wait.
HARMONIA:
Saints alive you're a determined fellow. I’m only goin’ to say this once more.
You’re not goin’ in. Now take a good look into my eyes and tell me if I’m lying.
KARANTHIR:
Madam, if I have to physical move you, I will.
HARMONIA:
Oh it won't come to that 'cause then I'd have to use my magic on ya, and
sometimes it goes awry. I’d hate it if ya got hurt, accidentally. I’m not
threatening ya, just given ya the facts so ya can make the right decision
and move along voluntarily-like.
KARANTHIR:
You honestly think I’m going to let this go?
HARMONIA:
That’s entirely up to you. Now, you may not believe this, but I can relate to
this situation - having found myself on the other side of crazy a few times
in my life. Although my kind of crazy never hurt anybody else.
HARMONIA:
… I can tell you this – ya can't be blaming Herita for any this.
KARANTHIR:
Oh can't I?
HARMONIA:
No hon, cause like I told ya, that gal's crazy as a soup sandwich. So don’t you
worry your pretty little head about this no more. Herita's goin' to a place
where she'll get all the help she needs. So ya see, it's over, well amost.
