Ya ain't messin' up me kitchen are ya?

JESSE:

HERITA:

JESSE:

Figures, and after Neve put me through hell.

HERITA:

Gave ya trouble goin’ to bed did she?

JESSE:

Yeah. She wanted the light on so she could see the monsters before they got too close to her so she’d have time to  could scream for help.

HERITA:
She’s a clever girl she is. 

JESSE:

Then she had to go to the bathroom. Then she couldn't sleep ‘cause 

the light was so bright that when she closed her little eyes she 

saw dancing spots that hurt inside her head. 

HERITA:

Right. Eva ‘eard of a night light?

JESSE:

It went out, took me fifteen minutes to find a new bulb. 

Then she conned me into reading her a story. She finally fell asleep. 

Man, I need a drink.

HERITA:

I wouldn’t mind a pint. What do ya say we go out?

JESSE:

HERITA:

Why not? Let's go to that place where Es works. Do ya know it?

JESSE:

'Course I do. Hey, since when are you hanging out with Es?

HERITA:
Didn't say I was goin’ to see 'er. Just want to see where

she works. Innit a pub or something?

JESSE:

A restaurant that doubles as a comedy club.

HERITA:

We could go together like mates - eh?

JESSE:
