Phae of Beren

Phae was born into one of the most affluential families in the Forest Clan. Ever since she was a young child, her parents groomed her to be the wife of the next ruler of the United Elvin Nations - Zyfan.  Phae was determined to fulfill this role, although her motives were her own. She cared little for the political power her family would gain from this union. Instead she only wanted to be with Zyfan. 

Love

Phae first saw Zyfan when she was a child. He had returned from battle a war hero and was being honored  with a parade. She was star struck.  Many years later, when she was officially introduced to him, her feelings for him became stronger. 

The Consort 

 Phae knew she would need to overcome a big obstacle in her path to Zyfan - Karanthir. She had been told that the prince had a consort/bodyguard who was of no real importance. She quickly came to realize how misled she had been. She reevaluated the situation and came up with a solution. Rather than be Karanthir’s adversary, she decided to become his friend. She told him that she only wanted to lighten Zyfan’s burden and make him happy, knowing Karanthir had the same goal. Then to prove her sincerity, she gave Zyfan and Karanthir her Blessing*.

The Godmother

Thyssa is Phae’s god mother. When Phae ran away from home to meet Zyfan, Thyssa arranged for her to be accompanied by Shichi. She hired him to act as Phae’s travel guide, advisor and body guard.  Later, Thyssa joined the Crew, for a few months, to check on them both.  She also wanted to meet Zyfan to be certain he was worthy of her god daughter.  

Shichi 

During the courtship of Phae and Zyfan, Shichi acted as her advisor and bodyguard. He became like an older brother to her. Once she was officially engaged to Zyfan, his obligation to her was finished. He received word, from his mother, the Empress of the Sea Clan, that he  had to return home.

Zam and Wysh 

Zam is Shichi’s traveling companion. When they were preparing to leave, Zam, being very protective,  didn’t like the idea of leaving Phae alone.  So he arranged for his daughter, Wysh,  to become Phae’s constant companion.  Phae loved the idea at first 

but now she’s realizing what trouble living with a fairy can be.
