fellow who broke your heart?

ZYFAN:

KARANTHIR:
… I’m sorry I wasn’t here for you. Zyfan, you’re trembling.

YFAN:

 I am angry, so very angry.

KARANTHIR: 

You have every right to be angry. He treated you badly, all those 

years ago, and today you find him here.

ZYFAN:
You do not understand. I am not angry at him. I am angry with myself.  All this time I have wanted to say so much to him. Instead, I just stood there, as if frozen. No words came to me. 

I feel like such a fool!

KARANTHIR:

KARANTHIR:
I don’t know how I would’ve reacted in a similar situation.

You have no similar situation. You told me yourself how ... frivolous you were in your previous relationships. Is it not possible that one of them felt more for you than you did for them? That you treated them in a similar fashion as to how Washi treated me?

KARANTHIR:
I never led anyone on, that would be cruel. 

And I never lied. It was all about having fun.

ZYFAN:
Yes, fun! It always needs to be fun! So tell me this -  

when Karanthir? When will you decide it is not fun to be
with me any longer? How many days before you leave me? 

How much more time do I have until you rip my heart out?

KARANTHIR:
Zyfan you have to stop this. I’m not going anywhere. Look at me
- I’m not him. I love you. Can’t you see that? Do you think I
could lie to you about this?

ZYFAN:

 But ... you have loved so many ...

KARANTHIR:
I was not in love with any of them, only you. Zyfan there’s no one better for me than you. You need to stop thinking there ever could be. I hate him for making you feel less than you are. It’s because of him that you can’t trust me. I especially hate him for that.

ZYFAN:

 I do trust you.

KARANTHIR:
No you don’t, not completely. If you did then this ... fear of yours wouldn’t exist. It’s alright my prince, I know you want to and I'm confident that one day I’ll have your trust. For now, you have to let him go. He deceived you. None of it was your fault.

ZYFAN:
