Zyfan and Karanthir
Thursday afternoon …
ZYFAN:
Karanthir ... are you still asleep?
KARANTHIR:
No, only resting.
ZYFAN:
It is very late. Are you ill?
KARANTHIR:
Just a little headache.
ZYFAN:
Perhaps I should ask Syrrah to come see you?
She is a very gifted healer.
KARANTHIR:
Your sister can’t help me.
ZYFAN:
You are so certain of this? Tell me, have you been drinking?
If so, I assure you one of her remedies will ease your symptoms.
KARANTHIR:
I haven’t been drinking - and that’s why my head hurts.
ZYFAN:

It simply isn't due until night fall.
ZYFAN:

KARANTHIR:
Honestly, it's just a bad headache brought on by my
own neglect. You see, you’ve been distracting me.
ZYFAN:
Will you tell me what this is all about please?
KARANTHIR:
Simply put, I have not been embracing the vampire
in me. At least, that’s what Syrrah would say.
ZYFAN:
Syrrah? So this has happened before. What does it mean?
KARANTHIR:
Blood Zyfan, I need blood.
ZYFAN:
Oh, well, if that is all ... why do you not take some
of mine? I trust you, and would be very willing to ...
KARANTHIR:

ZYFAN:

KARANTHIR:

ZYFAN:
Then tell me how to find this supplier and I will go fetch you some.
KARANTHIR:
It doesn't work that way. One of my vampire acquaintances will
bring it to me once she rises. I've already left her a voice mail.
ZYFAN:
