Harmonia Donado-Mitchum

 Harmonia was born under a youth spell meant for her mother, so she’s a little ‘off’.  She's over 200 years old and reinvents herself every few decades. She was missing for forty years and insists she spent that time in heaven among the angels. Her present persona is that of a southern belle. She has a husband and two children.

Daddy

Trey was born in Portugal in 1720. When he was 11 years old, pirates ransacked his village and kidnapped him. He lived among them doing their bidding for about six  years. His only escape were books. Unbeknownst to him, an ancient sea dragon was watching over him. She decided 

to save him . She created a maelstrom and sunk the ship. Trey was the only survivor. 

The Dragon

Free at last, Trey discovered magic. Although he had little talent for it, he became obsessed with learning its histories and possibilities. One day,  he met a little girl named Xyla. She was very knowledgeable on the topic.  She told him she was all alone in the world, and being an orphan himself, he looked after her. 

After a time, Xyla revealed her true form to him - that of the ancient dragon that saved him from the pirates. She was in search of more of her kind. He wanted to help her. To insure that he would be around for as long as she needed him, she placed him under a youth spell. 

Their travels took them to Greece, where Trey fell in love with and married Lysandra. Trey asked Xyla to cast the 

youth spell on his wife. Xyla said no. He did it himself not knowing Lysandra was pregnant. The spell missed its mark and hit their unborn child - but no one knew it at the time. Lysandra gave birth to Harmonia. Then she began to unravel. One day she walked into the Mediterranean Sea  and never returned. Trey was left to raise Harmonia alone. 
Magic

When Harmonia turned twelve, her magic manifested. She was unable to control it. Xyla suggested they seek help from the Daughters of IlluminatA in the Elvin realm. The priestesses said the cause of her instability was a spell she was under, that was meant for another. There was nothing they could  do to help her control her magic. Trey kept a close watch on her and insisted Xyla help him.

A Sister

Harmonia travelled the realms with Trey and Xyla for many years searching for magical artifacts and signs of dragons. Periodically, she’d wander off and go missing for days, then weeks, then months. Xyla grew tired of tracking her down. 

Meanwhile, Trey married again and had another daughter named Lu.  As Lu grew older she became her sister’s keeper. This is one of the reasons Xyla placed Lu under the same youth spell Trey received. Lu was able to calm her sister and always found her when she went astray.  

The last time Harmonia went missing, Lu found her in a rest home in Georgia barely able to talk. To pass the time the two sisters watched old movies. After seeing  ‘Steel  

Magnolias’ Harmonia came alive. She told Lu that she was from Atlanta and had lived there her whole life. Lu wasn’t about to argue with her. During this time Harmonia met Beau. He was visiting a relative in the rest home and was charmed by her. Lu explained to him about her sister’s lapses. He didn’t care. When Harmonia was released, the two were married and moved to Texas. 

Motherhood

Harmonia enjoyed a normal life for a time. She was in love, happy and stable. She and Beau had a daughter, Tahariel and a son, Jophiel. Then things began to get fuzzy for her. She wandered off. Lu magically tracked her down and brought her to the home of the Lady with the Dog. Eventually Tahariel joined them.

A Brother

Harmonia knows all about her younger, half brother, Quinn. She’s had dreams about him his entire life. Now that’s he living in the home of the Lady with the Dog, she’s happy to finally be able to spend real time with him, although she doesn’t really know the difference. Spending time with someone in a dream or reality are the same to her. Occassionally she mentions things he’s done, but she shouldn’t know about - it makes him uncomfortable.  He’s both fascinated and a little afraid of her.
