Hey - what’re you doing here?
KARANTHIR:
Welcoming you home of course. Didn’t Jesse mention
my stopping by last night?
MEZ:
What - no! What do you mean sneaking in here like this?
You nearly gave me a heart attack.
KARANTHIR:
Really Mez, you must've known I'd stop by to see you. I can't believe
Jesse didn't mention it. That was awfully rude of him,
and after we had such a lovely little chat too.
MEZ:
What do you want?
KARANTHIR;
Don’t you know? Why Mez, I’m hurt. And after all we’ve meant
to each other. Have you forgotten all I’ve done for you …
MEZ:

KARANTHIR:
Hit a nerve did I? You really need to develop a thicker skin. Honestly,
one would think that after spending a long hot summer in California,
you'd have returned with a better disposition. Especially now
that you’ve reconciled with the lovely Cammeo.
MEZ:

KARANTHIR:
I know everything there is to know about you dear one.
MEZ:
I’m not your dear one - now get out.
KARANTHIR:

... For the last time, I’m not driving you to school.
KARANTHIR:
I can't believe you'd jeopardize my health just to enjoy a few moments
of leisure. Fin, it's pouring out! You simply must drive me to school.
If you won’t do it for me, then do it for Jesse.
JESSE:
Do what for me?
KARANTHIR:
Jesse, wouldn’t you prefer to begin your day nice and dry,
rather than soaked from walking, in the pouring rain, to the subway?
KARANTHIR:
... How can you turn him down Fin? I mean really, just look at him.
He’s visually impaired. Think of his fragile health.
JESSE:

TIA:

school. Would you mind dropping me off too? I think it’s on the way.

TIA:
Oh did she forget to tell you? Gosh, we spoke about it last night, after we heard the weather report. But, if it’s a problem,
I can take the bus, I don’t want to cause any trouble.
FIN:
I don’t remember her mentioning that.

Alright. I guess I can drive all of you to school. I'll get the car.
TIA:

FIN:
With all the chauffeuring I do around here, I ought to just drop
out of college and become a cab driver.
KARANTHIR:

That was easier than I thought.

TIA:
I haven’t seen Daprima. I just didn’t want to get caught
in the rain. So when I saw Fin, well … he does have a car.
JESSE:
Why you manipulative little bitch! I can't believe you just did that. Do you know how freakin’ turned on I am right now?
MEZ:
Tia - is that you? What are you doing here?
TIA:
Oh-my-God it's Mez.
JESSE:

We went out, in LA, that was before I met you.

such a great morning so far. I’m going.

TIA:
I don't want him in the car with me. He can take the subway.
JESSE:

TIA:

After Fin dropped off all his passengers ...
FIN:
What are you still doing here? Did you miss your bus?
Brynie? Brynie what’s wrong? Are you sick?
BRYNIE:
Is it true? Is Noli really going away?
FIN:
I wanted to tell you but I guess someone beat me to it.
Yes, Brynie. She’s going to be reunited with her mom and dad.
It’s actually really good news - for her.
BRYNIE:
But ... she's like a little sister to me. Fin, I don’t want her to go.
FIN:
No one does.
BRYNIE:
When is she leaving?
FIN:
Her parents have agreed to wait for Vanni and Syrrah to return.
Racolo's already contacted them.
BRYNIE:
So it'll be soon.
FIN:
Listen Brynie, Noli doesn’t know yet. We don’t want to scare her or
anything. She’s so young, we’re not sure how much of this she’ll
understand. Vanni wants to be the one to tell her. Hey, you OK?
BRYNIE:
It just makes me so sad that she won’t be living here anymore. .
