Daprima, it’s Wednesday and Cammeo makes her chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast on Wednesdays. They’re my all-time favorite, yes they are.

… But I don’t want cereal. I want chocolate chip pancakes. It's Wednesday
and we always have chocolate chip pancakes on Wednesdays.
RACOLO:
It'll still be Wednesday if you have cereal.
GRACE:
Didn't you hear anything I just said? I don’t want cereal. I want pancakes,
chocolate chip pancakes. You’re a wizard, so you know how to mix
stuff up, right? You can make my pancakes, yes you can.
RACOLO:
Shut up and have cereal.
GRACE:
What are you getting all huffy about? You sure are cranky in
the morning, yes you are. Don’t you know it’s always
best to begin your day with a smile on your face?
GRACE:
… Fin, I’m so glad you’re here. There's no pancakes. And Racolo
won’t make them for me. I think he woke up on the wrong side of
the bed, yes I do. Where’s Cammeo? Do you think she forgot?
NOLI:
‘Meo sick.
GRACE:
Then who’s going to make my pancakes, and pack my lunch?
FIN:
I only late classes today, I can help out.
RACOLO:
I’ll take Lith to school with me.
GRACE:
Do you really think that’s a wise decision Racolo?

What we mean is - it’s not necessary for you to
cook for us. Cereal and toast will be fine.
DAPRIMA:
I can take the hint babe. Where’s Mez?
RACOLO:
I think he’s sick.
DAPRIMA:
Is he? Do you think he had some bad popcorn
or something at the movie last night?
GRACE:
Cammeo didn’t go to the movies. She played Scrabble with me and Brynie.
DAPRIMA:
Really? So where was he? I’m going drag his butt out of bed right now.
FIN:

NOLI:
Uh-oh, Noli think Mez in trouble.
RACOLO:
Sit down Grace.
GRACE:
But I have to go see what happens.
RACOLO:

I hate to disagree with you Racolo but this is a family matter. My family.
And Mez might need my help. Daprima seems awfully mad.
RACOLO:
He can take care of himself.
GRACE:

RACOLO:
Maybe not, but I’m bigger and faster than you are

GRACE:
Racolo, I’m really beginning to not like you, yes I am.
RACOLO:

NOLI:
Noli want breakfast.
RACOLO:
I'll get you something.

RACOLO:
…Brynie, what are you doing?
BRYNIE:
Karanthir won’t get out of bed. So I'm gonna fill
this with ice cubes and toss them on him.
RACOLO:
No you’re not.
BRYNIE:
But I have to! Fin told me to wake him up and
if I don’t … well, I guess you’ll have to do it.
RACOLO:
Make sure you use a lot of ice.
BRYNIE:
This is gonna be just great!
RACOLO:
Where are you going now?
GRACE:
I have to go warn Karanthir that Bry ...
RACOLO:
SIT DOWN!
GRACE:
You know, you’re really ruining my Wednesday
Racolo, yes you are!
In the foyer …
FIN:
… What's the big deal if he misses a day of school? I'll tell you what,
you go see what's wrong with Cammeo and I’ll check on Mez.
DAPRIMA:
He’s my brother and my responsibility. You check on Cammeo.
FIN:
I can’t do that. What if she’s not dressed or something?
DAPRIMA:
You know babe, sometimes I forget how cute you
are. OK, I’ll see to Cammeo. You wake up Mez.
Daprima leaves.
FIN:
Karanthir where did you come from? Please don’t tell
me you left the apartment dressed like that?
KARANTHIR:
And why shouldn’t I? There's absolutely nothing wrong
with the way I'm dressed. I look incredible in this ensemble.
FIN:
You’re in your underwear!
KARANTHIR:
Ah, but I remembered my scarf. Besides, Mrs. Martinez in 2G enjoyed
my outfit so much, she offered me a muffin and a cup of tea.
FIN:
I don't want to hear about the lady in 2G. What are you
doing running around the building like that?
KARANTHIR:
Chasing your brother. I would've caught him too but I was
distracted by Mrs. Martinez - which gave the little monster an
opportunity to step into the elevator and escape me.
FIN:
Why were you chasing Brynie?
KARANTHIR:
Do you know he had the audacity to throw ice on me– while I
was sound asleep! Just wait till I get my hands on him. Don’t try
to defend him either. He said you told him to do it.
FIN:
I never told him … Oh, maybe I did? Well, get dressed and I’ll drive
you to school. If you’re late one more time they may suspend you.
