SYRRAH:
… Daprima, I believe my family is behind the lapses in your clairvoyance gift.
They must be utilizing the powers of the Priestesses in an attempt to
locate me. That could be blocking your psychic connections.
DAPRIMA:
That would explain the probing I'm feeling ... but why are
they going through all this trouble?
SYRRAH:
My family does not approve of my leaving the realm.
I have not been in contact with them since my
arrival here. It is now time for me to face them.
DAPRIMA:
But we’re not sure that they're the problem.
Do you really want to go back?
SYRRAH:
I must return to make them see that I will not alter my decision.
Also, I need to see my brother. I shall prepare for my journey.
FIN:
Daprima, did hear right - she’s leaving?
DAPRIMA:
She thinks her family could be the cause of my lack
of 'sight’. In case she’s wrong - I’m going to
the library to do more research.
FIN:
I’m not letting you.
DAPRIMA:
And just when did you become my lord and master?
FIN:
Don’t look at me like that. You’ve been researching
and meditating and jumping through hoops trying to fix
this. I think it’s time to take a break, that’s all.
DAPRIMA:
Fin, a part of me has been cut off and I can’t ... function.
I don’t feel like me anymore … I have to do something …
FIN:
You don't think I know this? I want you to stop
exhausting yourself only to be disappointed again.
Let’s wait and see what Syrrah finds out.
DAPRIMA:
What if it doesn’t come back?
