… I was beginning to think you might not get here in time.

KARANTHIR:
That makes two of us. Fourteen hours on a griffin,
with him beside me for the duration. I wouldn’t
undergo such a sacrifice for anyone but Es.

BRYNIE:
It wasn’t that bad. I love riding on the griffin. The only
downside was being stuck with you.

KARANTHIR:
Get away from me you little monster. You and I have been
occupying the same space for far too long.

BRYNIE:
You got that right. 

FIN:
Hey c’mon, you’re here now and that’s all that
matters. Although, I’m a little surprised to see you, Brynie.

KARANTHIR:
He’s been excused from all remaining court festivities
- thanks to my influence over the prince’s mother.

BRYNIE:
Yeah, isn’t it great? I don’t have to ride back - with him.

KARANTHIR:
Honestly, no one is happier about that than moi.

FIN:
Enough! Brynie, since you love the griffin so much
- you better go get it some food and water.

BRYNIE:
Love to. The griffin is so much better to
be around than him anyway.

FIN:
How long can you stay?

KARANTHIR:
Only until this evening so I’ve no time to lose. 

KARANTHIR:
… First I need to wash the stench of griffin off
my person. Then I shall see to the bride.
