JESSE:

Hey Grace.

GRACE:
Wow that’s a big box. I’ll bet it’s for Mez, yes I do. I’m right, aren’t I?

JESSE:

Yeah, how’d you know?

GRACE:
I know what it is, yes I do. I was with him
when he ordered it. 

GRACE:

… I’ll go get him. Mez! Oh Mez!

GRACE:

…  See - it’s here. I know it’s a little late, but that’s OK, yes it is.
I’m so glad it’s here too. I can’t wait to see it in person.

JESSE:
What is it?

MEZ:
Cammeo’s birthday present.

GRACE:
And I helped pick it out, yes I did.  He wouldn’t have been able to
without my help. No he wouldn’t have. Hurry up and open it.

JESSE:
Are you gonna tell me what it is? 

GRACE:
Mez already told you. Weren’t you listening?  It’s Cammeo’s
birthday  present, even though her birthday was last week. 

GRACE:
Oooh, look at her!  Isn’t she pretty?

JESSE:
A doll,  all this excitement for a freakin’ doll?

GRACE:
Hey - I think they forget something, yes they did.
Where are her clothes?

MEZ:
I don’t see any …

JESSE:
Hey is she anatomically correct? Let me see that.

MEZ:
Get your grubby hands off. 

MEZ:
… What is this?

GRACE:
That’s her wig, silly. Boys! Do you want me to put
it on her? I know how to, yes I do.

MEZ:
No, that’s OK. … I can’t believe she has no clothes.

GRACE:

Why didn’t you order any? I would have, yes I would.
I think it would have been a good idea. 

MEZ:
I thought she came with  them …

JESSE:
So you’re giving your girlfriend a naked lady doll, hmmm
… exactly what kind of message is that sending?

GRACE:
Oh pay no attention to him Mez. Cammeo’s going to love her,
yes she will. You wait and see. So when are we giving it to her? 

MEZ:

We’re not. I am.

GRACE:
Well I don’t think that’s fair at all, no I don’t. I’m the one
who helped you find her, remember? 

MEZ:

Yeah and thanks, but this is between me and her.

JESSE:
Yeah cause Cammeo will be so grateful,
you might just get some.

GRACE:

Get some what?

MEZ:
Never mind.

Later ….

CAMMEO:
Oh Mez ….

MEZ:
Do you like her?

CAMMEO:
She’s gorgeous! 

CAMMEO:
Oh thank you, thank you … 

GRACE:
Am I too late? Did I miss it? Oh jiminy cricket - I think I did. 

MEZ:
Grace! What are you doing here?

GRACE:
I wanted to see Cammeo’s face when she opened the  …

MEZ:
I told you this was between me and her.

GRACE:
I know - but now that I’m here, I have to  see what she  looks
like with her wig on.  Cammeo, are you crying? I’ll bet
it’s because Mez forgot to order her some clothes.   

MEZ:
I’m really sorry about that, I didn’t realize she didn’t come with …

CAMMEO:
Oh don’t mind me, sniff sniff these are tears of joy. I can make her
something lovely to wear. Why, that’s all part of the fun. 

CAMMEO:
… Isn’t this the doll we saw while on holiday?  To think of all the
trouble you went through to … She must’ve been quite
expensive and you’re saving for a car. 

CAMMEO:
… Oh Mez, you really shouldn’t have …

MEZ:
It’s worth it to see you so happy.

CAMMEO:
Oh you spoil me so. Thank you and thank you too Grace.
