CHINATSU:

… Shichi, please come in. I am so pleased to see you.

SHICHI:

I was hoping to find you here. I feel I owe you an apology.

I’ve been neglecting you.

CHINATSU:

Oh no, I am the one who has been neglecting you. I have had so 

little free time since I opened my flower shop.

SHICHI:

And I’ve been busy with Phae. Everything is happening so quickly. 

I must escort her back to my realm tomorrow. As her advisor, 

I'll need to be there when she's presented at Court with Zyfan.

CHINATSU:

I have been told by Syrrah that you will be gone a long time while.

SHICHI:

Actually, after the festivities are over, I’ll be returning to my family.

I'm indebted to my sister. She insists I return and I can’t refuse her.

SHICHI:

In a way - I’m looking forward to going back. I miss being there,

which surprises me more than I can say.  I have a niece I've never met? When I spend time with you and your daughter, 

it makes me realize what I'm missing.

CHINATSU:

It is understandable that you should feel this way.

SHICHI: 

The problem is - I dread being without you and Meg. I think I’ve come up with a solution that would make this all easier.

Chinatsu, have you ever been to my realm?

CHINATSU:

I've only recently became aware of it.

SHICHI:
I’d like you to accompany me there. I know the timing's all wrong

but, I’m inviting you to Court for the festivities. Then, afterwards 

I’m hoping you’ll join me in my homeland with the Sea Clan.

CHINATSU:

You want to take me to your home?

SHICHI:

I’d love to show it to you and Meg. I know I’m asking a lot. I know 

how much you love your flower shop,  but there’s flowers 

where I’d be taking you so … 

SHICHI:

… What I’m trying to say is - Chinatsu, I’m in love with you and your Meg. I feel we have a connection that I’ve never felt before. I want us to be together so we can continue our courtship, 

and perhaps one day, be married.

CHINATSU:

Your words make my heart dance. I am in love with you too. 

I am so happy to know how you feel about my Meg. 

My answer is yes. I very much want to do as you ask. 

SHICHI:
