… Last night was great. It's been a long time since we went out together.
KARANTHIR:

She wanted the prince and me to go on a double date with her
and Trey. Zyfan thought you and Daprima should like to join us.
FIN:
Glad he did. I had a lot of fun, so did Daprima.
KARANTHIR:
Yes, it was quite invigorating.

FIN:
He seems nice enough.
KARANTHIR:
You didn't find him familiar?
FIN:

KARANTHIR:
I have the strongest feeling I've met
him before, and that it had to do with you.
FIN:

Yes. It feels as if it were ... long ago and ... elsewhere. It's the oddest thing. I must admit it's been driving me to distraction.
KARANTHIR:

Why it's Fin and Blondie, the prettiest boys around.
KARANTHIR:

FIN:

ESMODONTI:
Aw hon - not on purpose, but then I heard my
man's name and these pointy ears perked right up.
KARANTHIR:
I'm sure Trey has the ability to make many things perk right up.
ESMODONTI:
Aw Blondie, you do have a one track mind, down boy.
Ya know, when you first told me you knew Trey I thought
you were only doing that flirty little thing you do.
KARANTHIR:
Flirty little thing, moi? I don't know what you mean.
ESMODONTI:
Oh yes you do. This is Es you're talking to
and who knows ya better than me?
FIN:

KARANTHIR:

ESMODONTI:

KARANTHIR:

I don't see how that helps. He's human, and
would be a much older man by now…
ESMODONTI:
That'd all be true if Trey was just your average guy, but take it from Es, there's nothin' average about him.
There's a lot more to Trey than meets the eye.
KARANTHIR:
As I recall you used the word 'big' often when describing him.
ESMODONTI:
Hahaha - you do have it on your mind all the time, doncha hon?
What I'm saying is - he's been around for centuries!
He's under some magical mojo that keeps him young.
