Quinn grew up in Scotland with his mother. His father, *Trey, was placed under a youth spell almost 300 years ago by Xyla, an ancient dragon who walks the realms in the guise of a young girl. Harmonia and Lu are Quinn’s half sisters and are also living under youth spells. Quinn didn’t know about any of this. He never knew magic, elves, vampires, genies, dragons or fairies existed until he arrived in the home of the Lady with the Dog. He’s been overwhelmed ever since. Still, he thinks this is all fantastic and has been trying to adjust to all this new knowledge. This is especially true of his newfound magical gift - Quinn 

is a dragon rider. His dragon is none other than Xyla. 

A Sister
Lu was in England when Harmonia advised her to  invite Quinn to the Home of the Lady with the Dog. She explained that he was nearing the age when his magic, if he had any, would reveal itself. So, Lu has been keeping a watchful eye on him and answering all his questions about their family’s supernatural history. She was the first to realized that his magical gift is being a dragon rider.  

The Eldest and her Daughter 

Quinn is not sure what to make of his eldest half sister Harmonia. There are times when she’s the wisest person he’s ever met. Then, in the next second - she’ll become forgetful and flaky. He’s been told she’s a powerful sorceress and he can sense her power - which makes him a little afraid of her.
Tahariel is Harmonia’s daughter, making her his niece. Tahariel is a few years older than Quinn and they like to joke about that.  He and she have met only a few times before, so now they’re starting to get to know each other. He likes her but he’s a little afraid of her too. There’s something about her  … perhaps it’s her confidence or the fact that she dabbles in witchcraft, successfully. 

Aless 

Quinn met Aless the first day he arrived in the home of the Lady with the Dog. Aless was going on and on about magic and elves - Quinn thought he was crazy. Then he found out - he wasn’t.  Aless has been teaching Quinn about magic and how to cope with it.  They’ve become good friends.

*Io 

Quinn was fascinated with Io. Imagine meeting a genie and then helping him adjust to being human again - after being wished free. Quinn’s happy to help too, plus he’s very interested in anything magic. 

Xyla 

Quinn recently found out that dragons are real and that he is Xyla’s dragon rider. Xyla is a dragon is disguise. He’s slowly coming to terms with all this new magical information and is fascinated by it and terrified at the same time. 

Jesse & Neve 

Quinn is not a fan of Jesse, who’s always been antagonistic around him. Then Quinn found out that Neve, Jesse’s little sister,  has a crush on him. She loves to follow him around. Quinn’s OK with that since he likes kids. He has a much easier time with her, than her brother.
